RSVP是什麼意思?
阿德雷德於最近(2014-05)收到一封來自國外的電子郵件邀請函，告知最近有一個教育訓練活動，活動訊息如下圖所示。原本還以為是詐騙集團寄來的信件，正準備刪除之際，看到一個熟悉的廠商名稱 – Bluehost.com。原來是阿德目前在使用的虛擬主機廠商，想必來信一定有要事稟報。結果剛看到信件的第一句話 Don’t Forget to RSVP! 就不知道什麼意思了，殘念。不過RSVP這個英文縮寫單字，似乎以前在商英課程有學過，但又不知道確切的意思，只好來求助Google大神了。

幸好沒有不懂裝懂，否則還以為跟ASAP是好朋友呢! 經過查詢後發現，原來RSVP是法語【 répondez s’il vous plaît】 的意思，英文也就是request for responses的意思。而中文簡單來說，就是要求回覆。可能是因為廠商想要知道，當天能夠到訪的客人有那些，想要統計一下有參加意願的人數，好方便準備適當的水、食物、酒類、交通安排或者抽獎獎品(這個是我猜的)..等等，所以才會希望能夠事前調查。
但美國實在太遠，否則也可以要趁機去旅遊一下。看邀請函內容有提到，目前這個時節還可以滑雪、還可以順道去世界著名的公園…等等。實在很誘人。但既然沒有辦法如期前往，還是得跟邀請者禮貌性的告知一下，這樣才不會不好意思。
從這封簡短邀請函，清楚的講明時間、地點、連絡人以及活動內容。算是一個不錯的簡單邀請函範例，大家也可以順便把這封邀請函的信件內容學起來，做為日後邀約的一個參考文件。
